Hi, I'm Ashley Frank
I'm a Certified Functional Nutrition Health Coach with a passion for helping you get to the root cause of your symptoms and empowering you with the tools needed to tackle those symptoms. I am a busy mom of two kids (currently teens), business owner, and wife. I understand what it's like to feel stressed and pulled in many different directions. My goal is to help you implement realistic, sustainable changes to optimize your environment so you can heal while taking care of business. When I'm not in entrepreneur mode, I enjoy cooking from scratch, playing competitive games with my family, spearfishing in the ocean, traveling to new places, and hiking (when I'm not residing in Florida). Oh, and drinking iced matcha.
My Diagnoses Story
After I had my daughter in 2008, I would get extremely painful stomach pains out of no where. At the time, I thought I was healthy, so I really didn't know why the random stomach pains would happen. In fact, they were so painful that it lead me to the emergency room. After testing, the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong at the time so they put me on pain medication.

So, life went on. I was raising two kids, working full time, and living in a rat race. Sound familiar?
Years later, I would find the same symptom reoccurring, but in fact, way more painful with additional symptoms such as fever, dramatic weight loss, and severe bloody diarrhea (sorry TMI). Not fun!!!

At this time, I was practically bedridden! My family became extremely worried and so I went to the ER once again. This time, the doctors did a CT scan and determined that I had severe deep ulcers in my intestinal tract, and they also found that I had an alarming amount of E. coli in my system. I was prescribed antibiotics and pain killers, which I began taking immediately.

Once I met with a Gastrologist and confirmed I either had chronic ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. I was told that I only had drug treatment options, such as an oral or monthly drip arm fusion of immunosuppressive drugs, or I could get surgery and wear an ostomy bag. I thought to myself, "Gosh these seem like extreme last resort measures! Also, it seems contrary to suppress my immune system when I'm trying to heal my body?" I asked the doctors if I could heal from diet and lifestyle changes and they told me this disease is uncurable and that it wouldn't help at all. I was told the only way to manage this disease is to use medication.

While I started some medication, I found myself only getting worse. The long list of side effects from the medication was coming to fruition.

So, I immediately began researching and reading a variety of books and information about the disease and how to heal through natural means. Finally, I began to have a glimpse of hope. I had two children under my wings, and I was going to do everything in my power to heal and get my life back. I started to implement diet and lifestyle changes and patiently waited for some results. While difficult, my family respected my decision to heal naturally and supported me in every way they could.

How long did it take me to heal? It took me three months of consistency to start seeing results. You may not want to hear this, but the reality is that healing does take time and there is NO magic pill or magic food or magic supplement that will heal you immediately. Healing is a PROCESS that takes TIME. But, once you unfold the "root cause", every little decision and adjustment you make moving forward will have a significant impact on your healing process and ultimately the quality of your life!

I want to share with you the secrets to healing naturally from chronic symptoms, conditions, and diseases. My mission is to help you thrive, so let's get started! Check out my signature program.
